Not only 4 on the roster, but 4 that she didn’t have a hand in recruiting and bringing to LSU. On top of the 4 mentioned, there’s still all of the 2023 freshman class (Robinson, Lee, Froelich, Boyer, Hemmings, Rome) & Demps who has one final year of eligibility. Yiked… only 4 on the roster is gonna be TOUGH to bounce back from. I hope TJ’s able to pull some good recruits for 2025 and beyond and hit that portal WELL this upcoming season. Rumor has it Devin Kahahawai will be looking for a new home this spring. Maybe she’ll wanna team up with a familiar face. oh ok my fault. I misunderstood. Either way best of luck to her and staff on filling those gaps and getting back to the tournament where they belong.

unfortunately I wouldn’t say she lived up to the hype of someone who has a national championship ring. I thought she was going to be able to put up numbers like Robinson, but that wasn’t the case. Echter turned out to be the better overall RS and took over the starting spot about midway through the season. was Jade Demps not a great pickup? what was the hype? She was a backup on a National Championship team who could never really break into the lineup and was getting beat out by whoever Sheffield was bringing in year by year. Is she a good player yes, does she raise a program to the level of a Wisconsin, Texas, Nebraska? Probably not.

I mean there was definitely hype. She was a fan favorite at Wisconsin and people saw the potential in her. Yes she wasn’t able to really crack into the starting lineup, but again she played for a national championship team, was a former top 15 recruit and was transferring to an LSU team that has been pretty much riding the middle of the SEC for the past decade. unfortunately I wouldn’t say she lived up to the hype of someone who has a national championship ring. It can be looked at as a little concerning for sure. Also doesn’t appear Williams or Flickinger will be taking their 5th years. That only leaves 4 players left on the team that TJ didn’t have any part of their recruitment (Flory commits). So I’m interpreting it as a clean sweep. Of those players left that she didn’t recruit, Roberson proved herself to have a ton of potential in the middle as a R-FR this year. Echter really stepped up as the starting RS half-way through the season. Zamora was injured this year but got some good playingtime last year as a DS & serve specialist & Martin does a lot off the court such as being a part of the SEC Community Service Team. I think TJ wants players of a certain caliber and ones that she brought on board herself. TJ and staff… what is going on in the bayou?? (Respectfully) I'm not sure the situation at LSU was one where a "clean sweep" was needed. The talent was clearly there, it was putting it together on the court.
