Trump is running for President. He's not like GWB sitting at home painting pictures. Of course people are going to talk about him. Holiday spent two years telling us that Trump was going to win the election in 2024, until his recent conversion to DeSantis. And yet, he complains if anybody else talks about Trump. Says we're obsessed. (It's not like we are spending an hour a day talking about somebody's old laptop computer. Now THAT'S "obsessed".) Ok Mike....I think that fair. I challenge all of you to look back on the last 25 pages of content and see how many times Donald Trump is the subject of a thread. You people aren't just a little obsessed. He has been your sole obsession for the last six years. I don't know how liberal marriages stayed together these past years given the focus on liberals other relationship with Donald Trump. This is how you all work and to be fair I don't think any of you realize how effed up you have all become. If you manage to take Trump out your new obsession with be the next best bet for the nomination which of course is Ron DeSantis. You all have already been working on that right? Comparing him to a dictator and suggesting he is racist because you all need every bit of that black vote. You didn't respond to anything in the first place, then lied about what I said, and now you say I am not engaged? Each time I challenged you at all, you went silent. You wouldn't consider how another belief compared to yours. Now you won't consider what human rights are and where they come from. I didn't expect you to run from a challenge faster than Holiday. You keep inferring that I am interjecting my beliefs on others? I have stated that there are two competing 'rights'. The right of a women to control her own body and the right of a human life. I haven't said that one takes precedent over the other - but that killing a living human isn't a good thing. If saying that killing a human is not good and is just interjecting my own belief - then I would be guilty. But being opposed to killing another living human isn't just a Christian value - it is a basic human decency value. Either you believe that the unborn child is a living human at some point (viability, heartbeat) and that it is okay to kill that living human because the right to control one's body is more important. Or you don't believe that an unborn child is a living human (Jewish Law). I have been told here that no one believes that an unborn child is not a human (after viability). No idea what you think - you really don't want to engage. My opinion - if one thinks that the right of the women to control her body takes precedent over killing a living human - then that is an argument worth having (competing rights). This is not a discussion you are interested in engaging in - and frankly it isn't something where we are going to change minds. I think this is a tough discussion w/o any easy answers. Any opinion by definition is interjecting one's beliefs and values on another. To say that it is only one side that is interjecting their values - would be dishonest. To say that a women has the right to an abortion because the unborn child isn't a human life - then this is where I disagree. I believe that an unborn child is a human life at some point before they take their first breath outside the womb. I'm perfectly happy to discuss any of this, even though you keep saying I am not. I don't particularly appreciate you telling me what I do or don't think or you making up terms and arguments and assigning them to me. That is just building a strawman and iis a dishonest argument. When I refer to your religious belief I am referring to the fact that you have made no secret of the fact that you are a conservative Christian (absolutely nothing wrong with that) and that your starting point for this discussion just happens to be the current evangelical belief of when human life starts and what rights to attribute to a fetus when. It makes little difference whether you attribute your starting position to religion or not, that is still where your position is. I said it before, and you didn't comment. If you are really interested in having anything more than a superficial presentation of views, then you need a lot more foundation to support your starting point. We’d all be happy if he just went away, but he won’t go away. That’s his fault (and yours). this is the most truthful thing you have said in a year. That really is what Democrats want isn't it? If he wasn't running for President again this indictment would never be happening would it? Corrupt. Sad really. You had to use Covid and the entire Russian hoax thing while at the same time suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop story...to win. Now lets just have him arrested? You guys cannot win without cheating. It’s truthful to you because it fits your agenda and world-view. I don’t care about Trump now, because he’s not President anymore and he doesn’t have legal power or authority. He lost the election. He couldn’t accept the truth. That’s his problem and your problem. And, as I’ve said before, I hope Trump runs, and helps destroy his and DeSantis’ chances of winning. He’ll be doing the Democrats a big favor. |

GTA is fun! I've played all of them since the original on PlayStation and I have never shot a prostitute. They're great games!
