True to sleazy form the media and the darlings on Volley Talk are in full throttle election mode. Turn to any network and see all kinds of anti-DeSantis rhetoric. It goes back to my same claim. Liberals could not win an election without the media. They would lose every single time.Isn’t that the definition of election interference. Sure it is but they’ll never admit it because it would take a person of integrity to admit that. All I am seeing are reports of actual DeSantis rhetoric, from DeSantis. That makes him look how he looks. The media is just relaying the message. That is garbage and you know it. Calling him a white supremacist is legitimate? How stupid.

The media has always been a part of elections, dingleberry. Running campaign ads, doing interviews on cable news shows, talk shows and having surrogates appear on those same shows is nothing new. There may be less effort to hide behind partisanship, but both sides are part of that trend. There's no way Trump would have won in 2016 without the full-throated support of Murdoch and Fox News, and you know it. Wasn't it you who kept bragging about how Fox's rating were kicking everyone else's butt? Don’t legitimize what shouldn’t be OK. Isn’t that the very reason you people hate Fox News so bad? You can’t complain about one and then accept the other. You either feel that the media shouldn’t be influencing politics or you don’t? Which is it? How exactly would one stop the media from influencing politics? (Which is a different point, but not unrelated, to influencing elections). The media has always influenced politics, and vice versa. For good or bad, media companies are more willing to tailor their content to attract certain types of viewers, including ones with certain political views. Of course, Fox was a leader in this regard, and you never seemed to have much of a problem with it until they stopped backing Trump full-heartedly. Now, the media influencing elections is problem.

I would say if you have lost McEnany you have lost the Republicans (but that isn't true).
If Trump were to win the Presidency - who would be left to work in his administration?

He's blasting her now after having picked her as his own White House Press Secretary.
Reminds me of the scene in Silverado where the sheriff has just fired, and then shot and killed, a former employee, and then asks the guy who is standing next to him if he wants the job. Payden's response: "I see you're an understanding boss."

He is trying to soften Fox's impact - since he believes that the network is in the pocket of DeSantis. It is probably an effective strategy - DeSantis is getting a lot of free media with Fox - that Trump was able to get from virtually all networks in 2016 primary. And - McEnany isn't going to endorse Trump from the get go - and that is a total act of betrayal in his mind.

They're feeling the pain in Florida over all this and trying to stop the bleeding. But I'm wondering how much truth telling is too much. That and the Republican infighting over it. floridapolitics.com/archives/616761-gop-reps-tell-hispanic-religious-leaders-that-new-immigration-law-is-more-politics-than-policy/Republican state Representatives urged a group of Hispanic religious leaders to counsel their flocks not to abandon their jobs in Florida — even if they are not in the country legally. Video clips now making the rounds on social media show Republican Reps. Alina Garcia and Rick Roth speaking to those assembled at a Hialeah meeting with the Asociación de Ministros hispanos del Sur de La Florida (Hispanic Ministers Association of South Florida) The lawmakers said the new law is meant “more as a political bill, not policy.” And it’s meant to keep undocumented migrants from coming to Florida — not to affect those who are already here. But bad publicity about the law is already having an effect, Roth said. “I’m a farmer and the farmers are mad as hell,” said Roth, who grows vegetables, sugarcane, rice, sweet corn, celery, lettuce and radishes in Palm Beach County. “They (workers) are already starting to move to Georgia and other states.“ Roth spoke to the group through an interpreter and continued: “It’s urgent that you talk to all your people and convince them that you have resources, state Representatives and other people that can explain the bill to you.”
Reached later, Roth said that the law’s provision that requires employers of 25 or more people to go through the federal E-verify system to ensure employees are in the country legally applies only to those who are hired on or after July 1, when the law goes into effect. “The bill is 100% supposed to scare you,” Roth said. Garcia echoed the same sentiment on the clip. “This is a bill to scare people from coming to the state of Florida,” Garcia is shown in the video saying. “It’s done its purpose.” But Republican Sen. Blaise Ingoglia, who carried the bill that Gov. Ron DeSantis endorsed, said that Roth and Garcia appear to be misinformed. The new law penalizes anyone who “knowingly” hires an illegal immigrant, even if it’s just one, and regardless of when they were hired. He also took issue with Garcia’s contention in the video that says the law has “no teeth” and that it is a political bill not meant as policy.

It's always amusing when people vote for things against their own interest just to do some political grandstanding.

Um, bear didnt call them neo-Nazis and white supremacists because they disagreed, that is literally what they are. Bear didn't assume they were DeSantis supporters because they are white supremacist neo-Nazis. Again, they are literally waving DeSantis flags. That was one of your more brain dead reactionary posts.
