At the very least she is an insurance policy against what happened last season. Carrying only 2 setters turned out to be an issue. The year before they played several matches with only one available as well.

She's been in the pipeline and to a lot of the NTDP camps, just missing out on making their U teams.

She played club with Little Kubick, wonder if she will talk her into making the switch.
Northwestern definitely could have used 3 setter last season, but seems interesting to take another c/o 2022 setter when you have one in the class on the roster.

really nice pickup for the Cats. Any insights? Seems a bit undersized for the B1G and didn’t get a lot of playing time last season.

Honestly, she did not really set the world on fire last year, but I think that was a result of getting lost in the transfer carousel going on at FGCU right now. She has a ton of upside and I would agree undersized, but with Davis and crew working with her I think she can certainly add some value to the program. May take a little time.

Looks like she played her best match in the NCAA tournament. Commentators referred to her being the spark that pushed Iowa State to 5. Rock solid all-around player who plays with fire. Next season is shaping up to have a really nice roster with some good depth. But Davis is going to be beyond thin at MB in 2024.

Curious if Davis will redshirt any of the rising sophomore class, namely one of Hernandez/Reid and Noordermeer/Carter (I believe Noordermeer was on track to redshirt last year until Rousseau's injury). It's now a class 6-deep, and with only 2 in '23 and 1 incoming for '24 – and COVID years being done as of 2024), so would make sense to balance out a bit. This season looks pretty strong and deep roster-wise, but 2024 will be another 1-year transfer portal scramble for Davis and co, and he'll need to pull in 4-5 strong attackers in 2025. Any early scoop on 2025ers favoring the Cats? *Current Roster Best Viewed On Computer Or In Landscape Mode On Phone*

*Have Covid Year Available If Desired* Seems silly to me to bring in the 2 transfers to just have them redshirt.

If the transfers need an extra fall to graduate (due to Northwestern maybe not counting all their credits), why not take a redshirt if you think you might not play this year and can get your full degree paid for?

But assuming all transfers in the Soph class are on $ their whole time, that means for 2025 he can only bring in 3, so the 2026 class would be giant. This is also assuming Drew Wright (incoming Frosh) is on $. If she's not, then 2025 can = 4, and needs to be a baller class.
