I’m actually cringing seeing some of y’all put Penn state before pitt. The back 2 back final fours disrespect. 😬 Not to start an argument, but podraza ain’t better than Fairbanks & Pitt has the better players coming in. Poor little Pitt. Always desperate to shake the little brother (sister) tag and step out of Penn State's shadow.

Compare Pitt's athletic department to Penn State's, program by program. It's a big, dark shadow.

The three most under-rated teams going into 2023 (as of today) are Marquette, Creighton, and USC. All three could be Elite 8 finishers.

I feel like marquette is gonna let some of y’all down. They are good but they aren’t great. I don’t think they will seriously challenge the top teams

I’d be thrilled if USC could add some prominence to the PAC 12 in their last year and have a solid non-conference showing - but us Pac 12 fans have been jerked around by the LA schools for the better part of the last decade… I’m not holding my breath.

All three could be Elite 8 finishers. if USC can find someone who can pass them maybe MAYBE they’ll make it past the second round. They’re losing a good OPP in Weske and Tuaniga is a bit of a blocking liability at only 5’9. I wouldn’t say they’re being underrated by any means.

I'm not quite sure where I'd place Pitt yet, but IMO it's not about the setting for either team (both Podraza AND Fairbanks are nothing "special"). Pitt is losing half of its offense from the team that made the final four - who is going to take those swings next year and what have they shown at the collegiate level that says it's at the level that Pitt had last year? Fairbanks is definitely something special. Girl can push middle 10 feet off the net, i don’t see any other setter consistently doing that other Oklahoma’s setter chamberlain. And i don’t think half of y’all realize pitts offense last year wasn’t great outside of buzzario and their middles. Their pins are immediate upgrades even though they’re young. & ik im late lol

From where I'm sitting, it's one or the other.

A few posts with Baylor in the top 10. In all honesty, I’m not convinced yet that they’ll even be a top 15 team at the beginning of the season. The situation in the middle makes me really nervous. Very unproven.
