long time volleytalk lurker here, first time poster! I'll be doing my master's at Purdue starting in the fall and I'm very excited to try to make some games while I'm on campus!

Congrats on everything! And you picked a good year to start school - ha! Honestly I think that they are going to do better than most think they will do. They are young on paper, but Hudson has already shown what she could do and I don’t think any player has entered their freshman year with as many accolades or experience as Chicoine, and was kinda impressive at the scrimmage. Their passing will keep them in a lot of games if setting and right side get where they need to be.
Renner was setting raven much more - which was nice to see.
I’m too lazy to pull up the schedule but I don’t see them dropping more than 2 total matches from these teams (Illinois and a surprise loss that puzzles everyone): Northwestern Indiana Rutgers Iowa Illinois Michigan and Michigan State Maryland
Less likely to go undefeated: Penn State Ohio State (lost so much though I was torn here)
Hoping for at least one victory from: Wisconsin (grumble grumble) Nebraska Minnesota

Colvin is a special talent for sure. I have faith that the setting will be loads better which only means good things for her!
While I was bummed that Trammell left, I think it was for the best for everyone; she probably would not have been a consistent starter with these others developing as they are.

I'm going to miss the 4th set (and potential 5th?) but some quick thoughts against Kentucky:
* Carr is going to nab that second middle spot. You can see it in the way she's more aggressive and seeing the game better.
* OPP is still a concern but I liked the way Wollert played in set 3.
* Get Hudson as many passing reps as possible in the summer.
* Get Renner as many setting reps as possible, especially with bad passes/digs.
* No more slides. Like, ever.
