Will all depend on the recovery and play of Logan. She has to be healthy to be competitive. A&M will be in the top 4 of conference in 2 seasons. I don’t think people are putting enough credibility to what these coaches can accomplish with recruiting and the portal. They have legit credibility now where some athletes will consider as they would not have before They added Morgan Perkins as a legit 5* middle in Jan portal...combine that with hopefully a healthy Lednicky, and Caroline Meuth OH1 is a pretty good front row start. If they can add a setter and OH2 in spring portal, it will be fun to watch. I believe Meuth is gone. She was a grad student transfer from ND.

She graduated from Notre Dame in 3 years; so she has a fifth year available still. Not sure if she plans to use it, but I think so?

Aggies also fixed their setting issue big time, and potentially another pin. That skyline connection already paying off!!

Curious to see the development of OH2 position
Lexi Guinn I think is a prime example of someone who can make leaps with the correct development. She wasnt ready this season but must have showed strides to get some playing time toward the end even before Logan's injury
Mia Johnson did well at the last few matches but the upgrade at the OH2 position either thru development or recruitment in paramount to a major stride in the 2023 season

How does one get out of just signing with Washington? Coaching change?

How does one get out of just signing with Washington? Coaching change? Washington must have chosen to let her out. As far as I can recall, Husky Volleyball does not have a history of trying to keep people in the program who don't want to be there.

Interesting, I thought once you committed or signed it was pretty much hands off by other programs.

She’s terminal in and out of system. I’d be surprised if she doesn’t emerge as at least a 3 rotation starter as a freshman.

But players can request that the school release them from it. Some schools do. Some do sometimes. Some don't. I can't say that Washington never refuses to release players or that they never will do so, but in the couple of decades I've been following the program, I've never seen them refuse to release players.

This school should be at the top of the SEC. Talent, support and fans.

When there is a coaching change, as there was at UW, it is nearly unheard of for a university not to release an incoming freshman from an NLI. All they need do is ask.

That may be but I thought it was a gentlemen's agreement that once a player gets to that point its hands off, IE another school would not be still trying to recruit the player.
