A lot of changes in College Station this year...What does everyone think their ceiling is in year 1 of Morrison era? I anticipate an active spring portal (in addition to 5* OU transfer Morgan Perkins) and could foresee a few other high level kids wanting to play for this staff.
I wouldn’t anticipate competing for an SEC championship in year 1, but don’t think 3rd-5th is out of the question.
Thoughts??

I wouldn’t anticipate competing for an SEC championship in year 1, but don’t think 3rd-5th is out of the question. Thoughts?? Best case scenario they have an LSU 2022 / Mississippi State 2021 season. Worst case scenario they remain at the bottom of the SEC like they have most years in the past. Their setting is kind of a big question park with only 1 setter remaining on the roster and she isn’t exactly proven. I’m not saying she can’t do the job I’m just curious as to how well she can do it. Plus only having 1 setter is never ideal. They also need 2 proven terminal OHs and MB2 (or just a second MB). DS/L seems decent enough but I doubt that Morrison would pass on recruiting an elite passer if they became available. They’ll need to go into the portal or recruit a late walk on for 2023 (unless they have someone) for security and/or immediate impact. Maybe Morrison and staff can turn them around and make some noise but it won’t be an easy task. Personally I’m excited to see if Morrison can turn the aggies around but only time will tell. Hopefully the Aggies can finally become one of the more threatening programs that they deserve to be. |

Come back winesalot…should be a fun next few years of Aggie Volleyball Agreed for sure...I think people are really undervalueing how good this staff is and what they have the potential to create. Watching Aggie basketball right now fill up Reed Arena with only moderate success has me really excited for the fall. |

Of course anything could happen and it would be fun to see someone other than UK or FL to win the SEC this fall. 2016 was the last time someone other than FL or UK had a share of the title and that was Mizzou. |

Real interested to see 2023 Auburn...good young team this year and adding Bell and another couple solid transfers will be fun to watch. |

Will all depend on the recovery and play of Logan. She has to be healthy to be competitive. A&M will be in the top 4 of conference in 2 seasons. I don’t think people are putting enough credibility to what these coaches can accomplish with recruiting and the portal.
They have legit credibility now where some athletes will consider as they would not have before

They have legit credibility now where some athletes will consider as they would not have before They added Morgan Perkins as a legit 5* middle in Jan portal...combine that with hopefully a healthy Lednicky, and Caroline Meuth OH1 is a pretty good front row start. If they can add a setter and OH2 in spring portal, it will be fun to watch. |
