This is why I can't with the volleyball community, y'all are too soft. 😭 Y'all are acting like the girl publicly declined them in the post, she simply thanks them. And then y'all wonder why NCAA women volleyball isn't treated the same as NCAA womens basketball. Soon as a player/ program does something for personal interest or that y'all don't like y'all cry. 🙄 A few VT posters respectfully called out this players social media post as tacky, got attacked by others on VT essentially telling them that they shouldn't have an opinion at all about the public social media posts, and yet the posters who think the social media posts are tacky are the ones being soft?  |

It's just petty to do it on an anonymous board. Talking crap/judging a 16 yo is very sus. Again, it's not talking crap. It's an opinion, and not all that harsh, honestly. I'm sure she'll manage just fine. And yeah it's anonymous, but we're not posting on her twitter feed anonymously.
Yeah, luckily no one from here is posting on her social media accounts. Just talking negatively behind her back here. |

It’s 2023. Social Media is the norm, it is not the exception. Time is NOT going backwards. Basketball and Football have been posting offers for YEARS! Add in reclassifying and VB is not going to be immune to these pathways. Deal with it
Congrats to all these VB athletes who have worked HARD to earn the attention they are getting from college programs.

As someone who has followed football and basketball recruiting since the dawn of the ice age, complaining about making offers known sounds quant. Not to mention in football offers are handed out like candy. It’s not unusual for a program to send out over 300 offers for 20 to 30 openings. For most schools you can’t even commit to a lot of the offers given. Just a different world. Now I’ll go back to my flint and tinder. Need to get a fire built before the cold sets in! |

Tamas affirmed a big-time commitment for Illinois. No idea who it may be. I think he is a really good coach. But he has struggled getting the best girls from Illinois. Which has hampered his efforts of getting the Illini in breaking into the top four of the Big Ten. The state of Illinois has the top end talent to do that as a great base.

I'm not complaining about comments, I'm complaining about them crying and calling someone tacky for their posting offers. The volleyball community is always crying about something. You don't get dragged in womens basketball for posting an offer. |
