I hope we get a Türkiye vs. USA semi final. I probably missed the rosters but do we know who is suiting up for Italy? Any changes? I expect POL, GER, CHN, BRA and JPN to stay the roughly the same as we saw in the preliminaries. the the winner faces Brasil right? |

Not exactly a walk in the park. |

I don't think there are any "easy" match ups in the QF's this year.
Any team is capable of beating their opponents.

I think they will handle china anyway, but Poland could be a tall task (or not, theyre also possibly weak at setter) |

I know Germany's schedule started off light, but, I didn't realize just how fortunate they really were.
Germany really got to face all four of the bottom VNL teams: Thailand, Croatia, Bulgaria, and South Korea in the VNL. They avoided Turkey, Italy, and Canada.. three matches they easily could have all lost.

if the finals was a RR i would bet 95% they would place last.

This is why I have a problem with the tournament not being a complete round robin AND having teams relegated. Something has to change. I say relegate the lowest three teams at the bottom of the table and promote 3 from the challenge cup. Teams shouldn't be able to buy core team status. That is such a bad business model, IMO. |
