there are two Walsh younger sisters. KC is the youngest and at Marymount. Kelly is now at Santa Clara, but don't think she's playing due to injury.

"HS stars with disappointing college careers"
I guess the same could be said for other students. Stars in high school but mediocre in college, and vice versa. Stars in college but mediocre in grad school. The higher you move up in level, the more difficult it is to be a star just because of the pure numbers.
There will be some bright guy/girl at Stanford who will end up dead LAST in his graduating class. And 50% will be in the bottom 50% of the class. (...and 50% will be in the top 50% of the class). Or maybe that guy/girl is not so bright after all? College separates the meat from the fat?
A lot of college graduates in the Top 5% of their class may end up in law school, for example. Half of them will end up in the bottom 50% of their law school class. Tough. Someone has to be last in the class.
All the athletes in the major conference teams were stars in high school. They can't all be stars in college. And so on...

I'm, of course, not talking about myself.
I got my degree online from the University of Phoenicians. My dogs got theirs from another online school.
Did you hear about that real life story about the district attorney in Pennsylvania who signed up his cat for an online degree. The cat got it, too. That online school got in trouble. Hilarious....

Btw, can you change your profile pic foreignball? I find that EU logo a bit offensive. Yes, I can and and I'll change it if you’re so kind to explain how exactly it offends you…. because now I’m confused. Here’re some facts: - Most of the EU members are in alliance with the US i.e. it should be considered as a friendly place for the US people. - My screen picture is one of the approved suggestions for the future flag of EU - My European origin is not a secret for anybody, I think, and I don’t see why should I hide it. - I’m assuming VT complies with Equal Opportunity Policy as long as it is being administrated from the US territory i.e. “…. prohibiting discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, NATIONAL ORIGIN OR CITIZENSHIP STATUS, age, disability…..”

Whatever happened to Kerri Walsh's sister? Can't even remember her name, but didn't she go to Long Beach? She is at Santa Clara. Was at Santa Clara. Two seasons ago she was on the bench in street clothes. Last season she was no longer on the bench. The word I heard is that she had various surgeries that didn't end up fixing the condition (collarbone?) and she just wasn't going to be able to play. I don't know what her status is, but she could have graduated (or be near graduation) by now.

These two girls didn't even stay at UH...I think Stevens transfered out after her freshman year and Bradley after her sophomore year. Not sure where Stevens went, but Bradley I think went to Utah.

Actually, she had a number of surgeries and could never play D-1 volleyball again. By the way, her other sister, K.C. is the starting setter as a frosh at LMU and last time I looked, she led the WCC in assists per game (over AA Sherburne of San Diego).
