Lol smh And what bothers me is that all the new recruits or most of them ā¤ļø that post and seen what our so called "fans" wrote on there. wow a lost to UCSD really crushed their at-large bid. So now either win BW or bust. In the event that they don't win BW, then they better hope that UCLA and LBSU win their own conferences to have a chance on the 2nd at-large bid because UCI will get that first one. I'm not certain that the committee will award the 2 at-large spots to only one conference. Crazy to think that if UCLA doesn't win their conference, then one on UH, UCI and LBSU is not making the NCAA tourney. Crazy. With Chakas, yes crazy, but without him, not that crazy. Hawaii was 17-1 with Chakas and all of his 4+ kills and .400+ efficiency. Without Chakas, Hawaii went 5-5. The good thing about losing to San Diego is that in Hawaiis two championship runs, they lost to San Diego during the season. LOL Losing to San Diego could be another blessing? |

After Spyros Chakas went down, the one player that needed to step up, but all he did was come up with an excuse to not be on the floor is, Chaz Galloway. The Hawaii Volleyball Team needed Chaz Galloway, in a big way. All Chaz Galloway did was turn his back on the Hawaii Team, came up with an excuse to not be on the floor. Leaving Voss the only veteran on the floor, but the problem with that is Voss only plays half a match. Everyone else are first year starters. The Hawaii Volleyball Team needed Chaz Galloway's veteran leadership, but he let the team down by not being on the floor. I can tell you this, Spyros Chakas, even on one leg, if he was cleared to play, he would. That is the sign of a LEADER!!!! or any other moderator Please put fakefan in timeout for the rest of the season. There is nothing of substance. Only disparaging an injured player. |

I know that the loss last night put a dent on their resume for the at large spot but will the committee really put the 9-loss (possibly 10) Irvine team as one of the at large teams? Yes they could and very well may. 2018 still haunts my mind. Lol lol exactly, this season is turning into 2018 all over again |

The players will see the love when they get here. They will receive hug and kisses, leis, request for autographs, snacks, etcā¦. These will be the people who should matter to them. Poster on IG could be anyone. Could be some fan from an opposing team trying to make us look bad cause they donāt have the same type of fandom like here. Could be someone who lost a bet. Could be disgruntled former player who has an ax to grind. Bottom lineā¦ignore the fools. |

Look forward to Ofeck doing good things right off the bat. I think Ofeck will make an immediate impact. He may be a little rusty volleyball wise since he cannot be working out with volleyball all the time but mentally, nothing will faze him after being a soldier. Physically and mentally, he should be ready to go. Getting reps with Tread will be key. Hopes he gets here early and get a head start. We will be in good hands with Ofeck and Kurt(and maybe you know who) next season comes. Welcome to the family Ofeck! š¤š¤š¤ |

No doubt our expectations of this team is too much. We not only lost our star and his sidekick(Galloway) but even those who took their places(Keoni and Louis);were not even expected to be more than serving subs this season. Louis came in very late. Keoni was probably barely on the āBā team. I think Cole Ottmar might have been ahead of Keoni but Cole bailed so Keoni got promoted.
Kai Rodriguez never panned out. Kai Taylor is still wet behind the ears. Oguz has yet to find his groove. This team is /was not very deep. Had high hopes for the 3 HS AAs in Rodriguez, Yewchuk and Justin Todd but I guess they were not ready to contribute.
Bottom lineā¦.we were counting on the seniors to get us thru. Two got hurt and another (Alakaāi) is still inconsistent. This is kinda the resultā¦ā¦Jeckyll and Hyde.
