Can’t wait to see what surprises we see during the off season! I think Kai will surprise a lot of people next year!!! He will push our 2 outsides for playing time next year!!! which Kai? lol Kai Rodriguez, current OH for Moanalua. I think they could slot him into Libero for a stable passer. 🤔

The kid can ball out. Not sure where the current crop of redshirts fit into everything. If anything Kai Taylor can try for libero.

Taylor and Sears are unproven, but Hawaii definitely needs the OH depth more, and if Rodriguez is able to prove himself on the off season, I think we see Galloway move to right and Rodriguez given the OH2 starting spot? Galloway is certainly small for the position, but he can block and support blocks just fine, and is almost definitely going to be the team’s second choice hitter anyways, so might as well see if he can fill the spot.

Interesting idea there. But I still think many people are underestimating Alakai Todd tbh. The boy has a hammer but he was behind such great players the past few years. I say gotta let this young man finally get his shot and see what he can do. He may surprise us all for all we know. But 6'9 and can bomb away. All is not lost yet.

Would not be surprised, or even shocked, if we see another UCLA vs Hawaii, National Championship Title match next year. Head Coach Charlie Wade, and Head Assistant Coach Milan Zarkovic will have the boys ready to make another National Championship Title run.

I actually think if Kai is gonna take one of the OH spots, they would move Chakas to Opp before Galloway. I actually haven’t seen Galloway hits from the right side at all.

I don't want to watch any of the press, seeing any videos of the match on youtube, or watch local news tonight. I don't want to see anything about the loss lol.

I’ve seen him do it on a rare day at a home game, but you’re correct in that he’s not really trained as a right. But the consensus I’ve seen is that Chakas is too good to take away from the left. Might not be true this season compared to last, it could be interesting seeing if the change in pace helps Spyros take his groove back.

What’s your wish next year other than Hawaii winning the title? I don’t think any player next year could challenge a record. I’d be happy if we could land an impact elite setter.

If I'm not mistaken I read or heard it somewhere that Spyros had played in that opposite position before arriving at Hawaii.
