It’s mostly about knowing your audience. The main objection people are going to have is the non consensual aspect of it, as knappic pointed out. Hard to be naughty about something involuntary. Also anything that even hints at objectifying players will go over like a lead balloon. Some sites I’m on that happen to follow college volleyball casually, have men openly lusting for various players, but that isn’t going to fly here. Male coaches are open season, though. You didn’t really go there, but as Dennis says in Always Sunny In Philadelphia, it’s the implication. Personally I found the whole Wisconsin episode disgusting more than tiltillating, but even then I’m as bad about making what I consider “colorful” jokes that others just find flat out offensive. I knew this would be one of those and so was trying to give you a heads up. I was going to make some borderline-inappropriate joke and then I realized you spelled it "tiltillaing" and I actually had to go do a "Google" to make sure I haven't been mispronouncing it all these years. That would be awkward. Lol. Yeah, iPhone keyboards and screens. I saw I misspelled it but you have to really want to edit posts when it’s a reply on an iPhone. |

Pretty sure I remember reading something about her getting drunk at a party (one a few of her teammates attended) and ended up punching one of them in the face. I think it was around the time she got that DUI |

how come no one mentioned strivens since jc said he almost kicked her off the team (i believe when she was a freshman) Don't remember that. She red shirted her freshman year. JC and Kelley Hunter butted heads early in her NE playing career, and JC commented on that when she returned as an Assistant Coach. However, I would not term either as bad girls. Fierce competitors YES. IMO this thread has the potential to bring up things best left as historical footnotes. SA's just like the rest of us do dumb stuff when young. Not worth reliving. Best to move on like we all do. |
