Campbell leads the Gophers 2-0.
Just kidding.
Gophers up 2-0, 30-10, 30-18. I just lost the audio and the LiveStats aren't working, but I caught that much.

Minnesota's non conference schedule is almost as bad as Washington's. Campbell, Maine, TCU, North Dakota State, Xavier, Houston, Central Florida.......... What a lollipop schedule.
Nice way to score a couple of easy wins and make yourself look better than you are. Nebraska must have really stunk up the court against the Gophers.

Don't forget to whine about all the Wahine's injuries and the onerous pressure of playing in front of the Hawaii home crowd if they lose to the Huskies the next couple of nights BiK.
FWIW: With the Gophers working 8 new players into their lineup this year I had been expecting weaker over all non-conference competition.
I'm not sure what Washington's "excuse" is considering they return pretty much their entire team from last season.

True, it is not the toughest non-conference schedule that MN has had but as AMM mentioned they have a number of freshman this year.
In fact, when I first saw the non-conference schedule I wasn't sure if I was looking at the Gophers' non-conference schedule or Hawai'i's conference schedule!

Campbell had 19 digs.
4-10-20 (.300)!
KBow had 37 assists and Hartmann 3? Did anyone listen to this match? Did they run a 5-1 even though Hartmann played all 3 games, because KBow also only had 1 attack?
.527 as a team??

Congratulations to Minnesota on beating Campbell. That is a great win for their program.

Not the world's toughest schedule, unlike in recent years for the Gophers, but Nebraska is obviously very good, at KSU is no gimme, and UNI is down but I would guess not terrible. Seriously, though, this must be Campbell's worst loss since they played Duke maybe in the NCAA tournament in hoops a few years back.

That girl. Vetterodt or something. Did she play? She's my new favorite. What does she play anyway? Doesn't matter. She's THAT GIRL! (cue music...)
