Very happy we're getting this rolling again....dare I ask for early predictions??? Anyone know who's got a lot of buzz with their classes?
Defending champs return just about everyone, who is going to challenge them?

So will CMS, after falling short last year. They are hosting National Championships this year and will be very much in the conversation.

Starter from Iowa going to Hope, seems like a reason to have faith in them. NYU returns the OH and the libero who are both exceptional. Juniata returns everyone. CMS is loaded and hosting the finals. Northwestern still has Glanzer which gives them a leg up over every team not named here.

I think Hopkins is back in the mix -- when at full strength their only loss last year was in the national quarterfinal -- returning a very young team and adding a stud bro from what I hear Trinity and Calvin have to figure into the equation Is this our final 8??? Obviously at the mercy of regional placement -- Trinity and CMS will likely get lumped together, as well as Hope and Calvin Anyone in New England that's exciting? MIT still top dog?

Trinity had 6 seniors and for sure we know they are losing their first, second and 5th leading scorers because they were already 5th years. Obviously you can't overlook them but if they did drop off a bit, it would be understandable. Calvin, do we know if Westra is back? Obviously Calvin is never bad but Westra was a huge factor for them and IDK if she's back for a 5th year or not. Hopkins top 6 scorers were freshman and sophomores. Their '23 roster is up and it looks like they only lost a reserve setter. Good Catch! Juniata in week 1 and CMS in week 2, so we could know what they are pretty quickly.

Does anyone know what's going on a Thiel College? 3 entered the portal this past week... All 3 pin hitters and all 3 looked like they played a significant role in 2022 -- including their kill leader

Anyone in New England that's exciting? MIT still top dog? CMS hosting is fun and kind of pressure to be there. I hope they make it and a host makes for fun crowds. Looking at region 1 and 2 final rankings it looks like there will be some new looks (# of 4th or 5th years / Significant impact) NESCAC Tufts 6/4 Wesleyan 4/4 Williams 6/4 Amherst 4/2 Middlebury 3/2 Bowdoin 4/4 Colby 2/1 NEWMAC MIT 4/3 Babson 5/3 Emerson 8/3 Springfield 4/2 Smith 1/1 USCGA 2/1 CCC Endicott 6/5 Region 1 GNAC Johnson & Wales defeated Simmons. Little East Keene upset Plymouth state and guessing PSU the preseason one. NESCAC above... North Atlantic Conf Maine Maritime's for years with Husson improving and Eastern Naz in there now with NECC dissolving. Region 2 Commonwealth Coast Endicott over Gordon in final. U of Hartford joins but not post season eligible for 3 years. ? Suffolk, Nichols, Wentworth MASCAC Westifield over Worcester NECC dissolved NEWMAC above Brandeis from UAA It'll be fun to see which of them had depth and players taking advantage of their opportunities and who will have impact freshmen.

Cabrini closing has been rumored for a while...very sad though...pretty competitive in most sports -- slated to start men's volleyball this year. I would think Marymount cruises in that conference once Cabrini leaves - I believe those two have been 1/2 since the conference began
