looks like a good get! heavy arm to take out OOS balls instead of Carlie Carlie is great out-of-system, by the way. She’s a very creative and versatile scorer. You guys are going to love her.

I meant at any position Nebraska chooses to recruit, not just setter. Nebraska has an appeal that goes beyond what the depth chart looks like. And there are other very good programs with a starting setter who will be graduating by 2025, and not much behind them. But they're not Nebraska, and that makes all the difference in the world. The meatriding is insane 💀 Lol. I never heard/read that expression before. I like to think I have a healthy respect for Nebraska and many of its fans. I don’t mind if someone wants to characterize it as meatriding. I don’t see it that way, but it doesn’t bother me. But on a thread about recruiting, I certainly see Nebraska as UT’s biggest recruiting rival. I bet John Cook sees it the same way.

Why? She wont be there for 2 seasons and a lot can happen in 2 years. She is really good, but I am going to say this, I don't think she is the most athletic Setter in the Class. She’s very athletic and also a legit 6’2”. Charlotte Glass is probably the best overall athletic setter I’ve seen. I still think Campbell has higher ceiling based on her vball IQ. She’s also probably the best blocking setter in the class. Reese Messer is pure setter and gets her hands on every ball. Can’t go wrong with any of these setters. Difference of opinion because I watched them play several times this season and in one match in particular she struggled blocking a very athletic outside hitter who just seemed to be able to do whatever she wanted the entire match. Look she is going to Nebraska so she is a 4 or 5 star recruit, I just think there are other setters in the class that are more athletic.

Recruiting insiders for Nebraska haven’t mentioned any scholarships given out to Middles for this class of 2025. Nebraska will have four scholarship caliber middles, if no changes made, two seasons from now entering that fall season. Wardlow is, by experts here the services and coaches, one of the very best in this class. I wondered if Nebraska would offer a girl from Lincoln. She picked a great school and I am glad she will go to the best conference in the country for volleyball. I actually would not have any negative thoughts if she chose Creighton because of the in-state school representation. You know in this era your recruiting is as good as it gets and is very specific in nature for Nebraska. The Badgers have two really good front line commits so far in 2025.

Wisconsin will really need middles in 2025. Anna Smrek, Devyn Robinson, and Caroline Crawford will all be gone. They will still have Booth and the 2024 Polish recruit Sarafinoskina at MB.

It looks like it was going to be either Nebraska or Texas. She’d have the same kind of issues in Austin. There’s an appeal to Nebraska that goes beyond what the depth chart looks like. Which is why they’re able to keep loading up on talent even when from the outside it looks like there’s a backlog. I wouldn't say there's a backlog. In 2025, Reilly will be the only other setter on the roster, making a setter a top priority for this class. Hey thanks for the constant updating commits in this 2025 class on the front page. Quite an undertaking since this process can last for close to two years. i would not want to do it but you provide a nice service that posters can constantly look over, and will, as this class evolves into verbals.

The meatriding is insane 💀 nah not at all - Nebraska has certainly earned it’s spot amongst the top programs in the country (#1 for culture by a mile) Never disagreed, but I just never seen a “texas fan” complimtenting Nebraska this much. It's like a Texas football fan could constantly complimenting a&m football.

It's like a Texas football fan could constantly complimenting a&m football. But A&M doesn't win, and they're not a real football rivalry anyway, other than an outlier period under Sherrill and Slocum where they cheated their hineys off (which seems so boomer to say nowadays). I used to compliment Nebraska football a bunch, too, back when Osborne was the coach. Even for a few years under Solich. In any case, it seems dumb on a recruiting thread not to acknowledge that Nebraska is on a different level, with Texas and Stanford not far behind. And Stanford has their academics, which is their superpower and their kryptonite all in one. But I don't see anyone else playing in the same playground recruiting wise. Doesn't mean there aren't other excellent recruiting programs. But not at those 3 programs' level. And of those, Nebraska is tops right now.
