Stanford/WSU is going to be a HUGE match-up next week. Maybe. It's on the Palouse and Francis will probably be out. The only other middle, Annabelle Smith, has been out all season. Leilah Smith (the other middle) medically retired last year. Hambly didn't get another middle this offseason. They also had to retape Miner's ankle during the Arizona match today. So it might be a good match but might be very lopsided.

Stanford/WSU is going to be a HUGE match-up next week. If Francis doesn't come back for Stanford, WSU has to be favored.

I wanna see the Stanford stars really get fiery and competitive (which they rarely do), but Wazzu in a Bohler gym going crazy might be capable of bringing that that out in them.

Sadly, PAC teams that started the conference with good records are losing and losing. Washington, COL, CAL, and UCLA all had good chances to make the tournament, but instead are losing more and more. Looking like we will just get 5 teams in at this point-Stan, Oregon, WSU, ASU, and USC.

Now that we have started conference play, the award for conference stinker goes to UCLA.
To maximize NCAA tournament bids and seeds, the goal was for these teams: Stanford, WSU, Oregon, Washington, UCLA, Cal, ASU, and Colorado OR USC to not take any losses to Utah, OSU, Arizona, Colorado OR USC. UCLA is 1-4 against Utah, Arizona, Colorado, and USC.
The LA schools continue to be such a disappointment and, relative to talent and expectations, the biggest drag on the conference for the better part of the last decade.
