Carlini and Evans both had bad outings and Carlini's back is no excuse especially when the ball comes directly to you, it does not affect your decision making. If her back is that bad she would not be in the gym and rehabbing. ok |

One game or three? Karch is going to roll the dice with Hancock the whole way. The bigger question is how are the OH's going to hold up. Japanese serving can certainly target an individual receiver and that clearly affects how K-Rob performs.
The Japanese defense can be very frustrating for the hitters even with good sets. Plus our starting 6 will be playing together for the first time this NT season.
If the match is close and any particular player struggles it will be up to Karch to make the adjustments. And unfortunately everytime I see him he seems to be looking just over the top of his glasses. Let's hope his vision is clear from there.
