I'm sitting over here wondering how in the actual hell I can be 5-0 against all the teams tied for 1st, but have losses to Blackiechan1999 (because of aces), Vup (because of digs), and Agean09 (because of aces).... This season has been quite the rollercoaster. And this week I have a match against Fight On! who usually doesn't get many aces, and Owobete pops off for 5 in her first match....  |

You all are SO much better at this than me honestly, you drafted pretty well. your team is solid, it’s mostly just your lineup choices week-to-week (to my novice eyes). I do quite a lot of research on schedules, opponents rosters/stats/schedules, what they’ve played in the past, what lineup configuration gives me the best chance of going 2-0 looking at my own numbers too, etc |

I definitely think players like you and ay have it easier. you know what categories you’re going for, you’re not trying to fool anyone. everyone in the league knows what your lineup will look like week-to-week, whether the players themselves are the same. this is my first year in fantasy, and I ended up drafting decently balanced, minus aces. but none of my categories, other than digs, were something super reliable from day one. my kills were decent, but it meant playing bad servers/blockers, which meant week-to-week I had to guess the opposing players number of setters so I could play the same or one extra and still go for kills/assists/digs. that wasn’t sustainable, which I found out, against teams like yours and ay’s. that’s a big part of the reason I’ve been experimenting with 3 MB rosters and picked up Delaney Smith over ****** ****** (no free promo to other teams lol). |

Yeah, ngl, love her to death, but my 1st round pick was a flop...Gracie Johnson #10 in Points per set last season, and this year, she isn't even in the top 150 right now. I think not having a legit top 25 on my team is part of my lack of success this season. :/
Also, if we're getting into this, I slacked off toward the end of the draft, thinking that I was already satisfied with my early round picks...nope. Bad idea. Beagle was also a flop, even if she didn't get moved to a 6-2, the only category she was good in was assists, and didn't really help out much elsewhere. I used my last pick on Bilinovic, who I knew I would drop, but just threw a name out to keep the draft going at a good pace. ugh. lol

trojansc No Bacus in the line-up tonight, coaches giving playing time to a senior against a weaker team. eazy Blane started the first set and subbed out also for reserves. 3 kills & 2 blocks in one set... She'll probably at least start again tomorrow but I don't like this hack
