what’s the verdict on the Otene situation? I’ve never seen someone get counted for a set played without ever stepping onto the court.

SET 3: Georgia Tech starters: Mogridge,Liv; Boezi,Anna; Bertolino,Bianca; Pimentel,Paola; Otene,Tamara; D'Amico,Isabella; Manyang,Afedo GaT sub in: Pimentel,Paola. - GaT sub in: Sanden,Lauren. It looks like Georgia Tech may have accidentally listed her and then subbed her out before the set started. That, IMO, is a set played.

Is that going to be a game changing decision? To me that wouldn’t count as a set played, although I can see the argument since it’s on the official box score. I don’t think that it should count if they did not play in a single point because they had no opportunity to earn stats. But obviously that’s just my opinion. I’m guessing that’s not currently written out in the rules.

Sealock got like 5 digs last time she played NDSU so probably won’t matter anyways

I don’t think that it should count if they did not play in a single point because they had no opportunity to earn stats. But obviously that’s just my opinion. I’m guessing that’s not currently written out in the rules. I think it sets a couple dangerous precedents: There are rare instances where a middle doesn't enter a set at ALL despite being a starter. UCF beat Temple 25-2 one year and did not complete a full rotation - but this rare instance is more likely to happen in a 5th set. It almost happened to me earlier this week (Madison Harms). There are box score errors routinely (missed aces, blocks, etc.). I don't like manually correcting them unless there truly is some malfunction/error in the score. This is not even a stat error - if you were in the starting lineup at any point - that is a set played. I hope it doesn't impact the match. Fantasy used to be calculated based on team matches/team sets played anyways, I remember debate about when we made that change and maybe so

Podium pictures are ready for release. Just waiting to see whose names are getting engraved into the history books.

from what I see, Harms needs 2 blocks in 3 sets, 3 blocks in 4 or 5 sets for me to beat rainbowbadgerif Harms gets 2 blocks in 4 sets, we TIE (2.5-2.5) again.. I will win at least 3-2 over ay depending on Hinkle 3 sets: 0 aces = 4-1 me, 1+ ace = 3-2 me 4 sets: 0 aces = 4-1 me, 1 ace = 3.5-1.5 (tied in aces), 2+ aces = 3-2 me 5 sets: 0-1 aces: 4-1 me, 2+ aces = 3-2 me

it’s been a pleasure🥹 I’m proud of my team. I did all I could do this week. Eazy had an insane serving week against me that doubled with my aces deflating faster than a popped balloon. I wish I could’ve had him this week LOL!

I feel personally responsible for tanking ay2013’s podium chances. Sorry, sis.
