barring a miracle, this looks like the final standings? 1st - eazy 2nd - uofagrad (tied 1-1 H2H, wins sets-record tiebreaker with vballfreak808) 3rd - vballfreak808 (loses tiebreaker) 4th - ay2013 5th - trojansc 6th - vballfan17 I stopped watching the BGSU match but I saw at least one missed block for Hovey. If there was one more that could’ve affected my eventual finish but in the end it didn’t matter much. Good job to everyone and congrats eazy! |

while I of course wanted first, I’m a bit in shock I got second first year LOL. hopefully I can continue on the podium and have it not be beginners luck lmao

I feel personally responsible for tanking ay2013’s podium chances. Sorry, sis. Mmmm nah. My team did themselves in. The only matches that get a good AY eye roll were my ones against Vup (my lack of digs and the situation with Brangioni), Agean09 (his aces and situation with Mogridge), and Blackiechann1999 (my absolute worst ace performance of the season)… other than that, I have no gripes above the outcome of my matches. |

At least I didn’t get relegated. Lol.
That was a risk when I started 0-8 or whatever it was.
Guershing was a huge miss and really started me off poorly.
Then USC being trash in Aug almost sent me for a loop.

Lots of 3-2 losses for me this season, but still fun, as always. would be fun to try and find a way to come up with some sort of fantasy competition for the tourney. thanks again admins for another great year!

I feel like me and Trojansc had this discussion earlier, but since you like P5, I think you’d eat in the challengers league Shade! no no no! there’s 2-3 players in here with mostly P5 lineups, and just frankly, mid majors have more stat stuffers. it’s gonna be hard to keep up. they all clearly know what they’re doing, it’s just hard to win against a bunch of players like Bree borum and Jill Pressly when you’re relying on players like Rubin and Nnedi |

Wait so did I get relegated 💀💀💀 I think there is going to be a logjam for fantasy next year. I'm not sure who will admin the champions league next year and how they will decide the participants, but per the rules, the top 3 finishes get an invite and the winner of the challengers league (congrats to wcdiggs) will get an invite. Usually the prior year admins get an invite. I cannot see Trojansc or Vballfan17 not getting an invite. That's already 8. Then you have a big time contributor like Huskerpower (what would we do without these spreadsheets!?), and I'd also like to give to both @texasfight (2nd in the challengers league) and volleyfan8288 some high praise as I think they'd be really good contributors in the champions league - very engaged. Honestly, I think the challengers league will have some very good competition next year. I will likely volunteer to be a non-participating admin again next year. |
