nope. but sylla said in an interview today, "dont put the blame on me.... they're mazzanti's choices" (or something along those lines) people were saying her and danesi conspired to get Moki, Chirichella, etc out. messsyyyyyyy I really don't understand booting Moki. Have the players ever had bad blood with her? There's perhaps some merit to the argument that Fersino is a better starter, but this team is taking Parrocchiale... Mazzanti loves Parrocchiale for some reason... idk why. |

Sure, I can understand that logic for taking her as a backup lib/DS. But over Moki? That just doesn't make sense to me? Like this implies that he thinks Parrocchiale is either a better player or carries better energy than Moki? |

Türkiye announced their squad today. I feel bad for Tuğba who was cut along with Saliha Şahin. Cansu Elif Eda Zehra Aslı Kübra Vargas Karakurt Hande Derya İlkin Gizem Simge Ayça they will bring 3 Lib instead of OH? ok here is the logic: Ayça will be used often as a backrow sub for Karakurt. Ok you may ask why not just dress a little used player in the second libero shirt? A fair question, but i guess the thought process is this. Gizem will be the starter. Shes as good as it gets defensively but her service reception is mediocre by top libero standards. So Santarelli might want the second option at libero if he wants to stabilise the reception, which is Simge’s strong point (her defense is pretty bad). Ayça is like a discount Gizem so a very good defensive sub. But for me, why not just bring Meliha instead, who can play front row in a pinch and is a very good back row defender as well. Or bring Şeyma who is a lights out passer |
