What happened to the Grote from the TCU match? Out of System all night is what happened. |

All I gotta say is the people who kept saying “O’Neal isn’t that much of a factor” — or something along those lines, you don’t know squat about volleyball, or probably sports in general. Any team that loses their star player and leader right before a match is going to be thrown off. That was the only explanation for how horrendous Texas played against LBSU. But yeah, keep saying O’Neal doesn’t make a difference. #HOOKEM If you are referring to me, I never said O'Neal doesn't make a difference, what I said was that she wasn't the reason why Texas lost to LBSU. Texas lost by 15 points in the three sets they lost. A 3 rotation middle isn't changing that. In this match, where you are apparently raving about O'Neal, she had 5 more total points than what Singletary provided last week. I also think it's kind of a slap in the face to the rest of the Texas players AND the LBSU players. If you are suggesting that the rest of the Texas players can only play well when O'Neal is on the floor, that's pretty pathetic (and it's not true). LBSU just outplayed them that night, it was the first match of the season, and it's not a huge deal.... not sure why that's so difficult to say without using the lack of O'Neal as some sort of excuse. |

Why can’t the B1G get more experienced announcers for matches and analysts for their “BIG Show?” I'm biased but I miss Grace Loberg, I thought she was a great announcer. |

After the %*$# that Texas pulled on Landfair's serve, I will always cheer against Texas. That was some minor league @$$%*!*. I don't know why they aren't embarrassed about it. alright but it’s just a celebration, every team has one when they play against opponents. At least the Texas student section isn’t as bad & rude like the minny fans were last weekend |

1. Serve/receive
2. Blocking
3. Swindle>Shaff*
4. The dreaded donut.
* In fairness to Shaff, she had to run twice as far as Swindle tonight.

Kudos to Minnesota for the competition but my goodness Landfair isn’t good in serve receive 😬 As a Nebraska fan I want to thank Texas for showing us how to beat Minnesota. Just keep serving it to Landfair. It is worth about 5 points per set. I don't know why Minnesota doesn't sub a DS for Landfair in the back row. Her passing was just awful. It’s been mentioned multiple times in the thread but Minnesota really doesn’t have a capable DS at the moment. One is the libero from Turkey who is currently ineligible and the other is a converted HS OH who has never played in a meaningful match and when she did coke in as a serving sub tonight, instantly sent both served into the net… |
