Beginning another leg of about a 1000 mile round trip. Totally worth it. A+ experience start to finish. P.S. NDOR westbound is not ready for football season. Yikes. What highways you talking? Omaha to Lincoln is 3-4 lanes of newly poured concrete. It was a breeze. I-80 west of Lincoln. Down to one lane. Full stop and go traffic last night. |

maybe they make this a quadrennial tradition so it's a recruiting tool for the universities involved? every recruit will get to play it at least once in their career? I really like the idea of repeating this party every four years ... make it part of the recruitment pitch. But I doubt that Cook will be the UNL coach four years from now, so that will be DBK's call to make. NICE, I would like to see this as well. I just don't think Larson is personable enough to handle the psychological end of coaching. But I do still call Jordan Larson the GOAT, and she is truly passionate about the game. |

Was there an accident, why was it down to one lane? Construction (just east of York IIRC. I was pretty focused on not getting hit by people trying to force their way into the lane.). |

Well next up is Iowa Women's Basketball, which has sold 40,000 tickets or an 10/15 game in Kinnick Stadium (capacity 70k so likely won't break the world record)
OU Softball doing feasibility studies for a stadium game in the spring.

The Gov is very personable IMO. Compared to DBK not as much, but not sure how many people on the planet compare. |

How about we find out whether she can coach at all. So many people seem to believe being a world class athlete prepares one to be a good or even great coach. This is just not true. BTW; Memorial stadium was simply incredible last night. |
