Here's our weekly Top 25 match thread creation subdivision of labor table. I'll tag our usual threadmakers who cover these teams and others so folks can take a look at the table, see if the matches I've penciled you in for as "In Progress" are ones you indeed do want to make a thread for, etc- let me know where I'm wrong on it. Right now there are two matches that don't have an obvious regular match thread maker (technically it would only be one match thread that can be used for the back to back matches between the same teams. If anyone's interested in covering those match threads feel free to respond to this thread and we'll get you on the table. Hey trainermch , I've got you penciled in for tonight's match thread between Kentucky vs Auburn. I'd be happy to cook up a match thread if you can't swing it. Sorry I didn't reach out to you directly on that one.EDIT: I went ahead and made a draft of a thread we could use if you didn't already have one in the making. I think we’ve all been there thread recycling- no problem with that : ). Also I’m definitely going to use that hack from at to hosts. |

I think we’ve all been there thread recycling- no problem with that : ). Also I’m definitely going to use that hack from at to hosts. I use “at” or “vs” … but that doesn’t allow for neutral-site identification, so…. Date and time need to be updated. If the stats are through Sidearm, the link is usually a generic one for the school, and will show stats for the current match. If it’s stats-broadcast, though, the link is unique for a particular match. Similarly, there is often a “school site” for streaming video (like the one is the thread) which then lets you pick the correct video stream. Usually, you can go there beforehand and find a link for the exact stream. “Broadcast” links like BTN, ESPN, etc will only be able to have a link for the station’s live video, of course. Records change, of course. Links for the venue and ticketing will as well. Likely lineups are getting pretty solid by this point, but still shift some (and that’s not even taking injuries/illness into account)! But most of that is really “fluff” — very few people care about a link for tickets, because either they have them, or aren’t going to see the match in person.  |

Yes, of course I did all the updates on links, records, etc. it was just going to be a pain to switch the teams right to left. Since I don’t work in HTML, I would have to find the logo again to embed it…… |

As for L-R orientation… you might have noticed that my Gopher threads always have the Gophers on the same (left) side, so yeah… even though I could swap it, since I make my posts in bbCode text in a separate text file, and could just copy/paste the blocks around… I don’t! |
