well, yes. but not agreeing that nebraska is carrying the volleyball ratings is also silly.
Read what he said, Nebraska is the reason a vast majority will watch.
What does it mean? It means that without Nebraska, vast majority will not watch, which is proved wrong.
i dont have any desire to read anything photos says. he can ramble on VT/twitter/IG about his nonsense all day long. ill see myself out.

I don't either. But I can't help myself if it involves my team.

Nebraka-Wisconsin had 507,000 viewers Wow. That’s a really good number given the day it was held. I don’t know why Fox wouldn’t do something with that matchup next year like they did with Minnesota/Wisconsin this year. With an NFL lead in the numbers could hit the 2m mark.

By my count there are 16 matches in the 2023 season where the viewership exceeded 229,000. Nebraska played in 13 of them. People can draw their own conclusions as to what that means, but it says to me that lots of Nebraska fans like to watch their team on TV.

I don't think there's any doubt Nebraska fans are on a different level by any measurement we care to dissect. We'll need other fan bases to step up if we want the sport to grow, but there's no doubt who is setting the bar in the meantime.

Did you ever get the numbers for Texas vs. KState on 11/5/23? Wondering if viewership grew once people saw TX was about to get swept. Thanks.

I think that was an ESPN+ game so no ratings for that I am curious about the ratings for Texas matches on SECN next year. It's not going to be anywhere close to Nebraska's. The numbers Texas was pulling for ESPN and Fox matches weren't setting any records, although usually they were nothing to be ashamed of. But not having any ratings available because of LHN and ESPN+ kind of sucked. I'm especially curious about the Kentucky/Texas and Florida/Texas ratings. They won't pop the roof off or anything, but if they're marketed well at all I'd think they have a chance at pulling some pretty good numbers.

Hmmmm. That's surprising to me. My first thought is, it makes me think their numbers aren't as good.
