You don’t get it, it doesn’t matter what the outcome of the match on the 24th is, Nebraska is the reason a vast majority will watch. . . not a team of portal players…. the team with 4 freshman, 1 sophomore, 2 juniors and no seniors will be the reason most people will watch-the team that makes Sports Center’s nightly top plays; get mad all you want, but it’s true . . . 💯 But you all know that.. 🏐 |

(And for the record, nebraska does hold the indoor record, with wisconsin in 2021. you both can shut up now lol)

I reade somewhere that Marquette-wisconsin holds the record.
the indoor* regular season* record. the amount of asterisks this is carrying, its worth as much as the kentucky covid title (i kid) nebraska still holds the record (with wisconsin) in 2021 in the final. some of the final fours/finals are still more than MU/Wisc. |

Sunday’s match between No. 2 Wisconsin and Minnesota became the most-watched in NCAA history, averaging 1.66 million viewers. The Badgers and Gophers got a boost from a prime spot on FOX, filling the 4 p.m. ET NFL window for regions without a football game in that slot. In total, 76% of the United States received the match on FOX.
The previous viewership record for an NCAA volleyball match came in 2021, when 1.19 million viewers tuned in to watch Wisconsin win the national championship over Nebraska. And the previous regular-season viewership record came just last week, when Wisconsin lost to Nebraska — and averaged 612,000 viewers on Big Ten Network, more than the Cornhuskers football game the same day.
