ESPNU ratings are down year over year. But the ESPN2 ratings seem higher.
I was hoping for bigger numbers. Especially considering so many of the Nebraska affiliated BTN numbers. But for a non Nebraska match its not bad. I guess I just wanted more.

Penn state-Wisc: 297,000 tennessee-texas: 289,000 Nebraska-Georgia Tech: 276,000 Creighton-Louisville: 185,000 Pitt-Wazzau: 125,000 So this IS improvement, right?  |

The most watched match of the day was Penn State-Wisconsin and it was the 12th on the season. Nebraska-Georgia Tech was the ninth most watched Nebraska match this season. ESPN should be embarrassed with these numbers.

I will stand by my opinion that Nebraska should have been prime time. But alas, I would look at the numbers like this | Timeslot | 2022 | 2023 | | 10/11am | 121,000 | 185,000 | | 1pm/1:30pm |

I did not include the 72k/60k overlap coverage for Neb/Texas Im not sure how to categorize Pitt/Wazzu (who had coverage on ESPN2 (125k) and ESPNU (57k) |

We wont get ratings until tuesday, but im putting these here before i forgot (from 2022)
Pitt-Wisc: 311,000 (7pm)
Texas-OSU: 231,000 (5pm)
Stanford-San Diego: 219,000 (9pm)
Oregon-Louisville: 145,000 (3pm)

Do the numbers include streaming. Let's face it, tv numbers regardless of sport or prime time are dropping year by year as streaming becomes more prominent.

I think we’ve gone over this in this thread, but yes, Nielsen has the capability of including streaming on certain devices/apps that have certain settings enabled (ie allowing the apps to track on Apple devices) that you might otherwise have disabled. |

Anyone know if there will be an ESPN+ simulcast this weekend? I got a month of ESPN+ for the tournament but, as feared, it looks like SFs-F will be on ESPN and ABC. I don't have a cable package with ESPN, so I might be out of luck with ESPN+ and need to pay for something else.

I'm sure you mentioned it earlier in this thread, but I did not realize until I read that article that Nebraska volleyball outdrew its Nebraska football lead-in on the same network earlier in this season. I guess that says everything we need to know about the state of both of those programs. |

I found it interesting the the article linked to another article featuring a former ESPN Exec questioning how viable the larger championship bundle would be without sports like Volleyball. Personally I will put my hopes here: |
