How much better would the ratings have been had the matches started at the right time on the right channel? They might have broken into the top 5 matches viewed this season.
List of the matches followed by the set and score when the matches were joined on ESPNU. Oregon-Wisconsin 1st 19-22 Nebraska-Arkansas 2nd 2-5 Texas-Stanford 1st 22-15 Pitt-Louisville 1st 11-6

Seriously??

Someone's in need of a humble pie. We will make sure it is prepared on the 24th. You don’t get it, it doesn’t matter what the outcome of the match on the 24th is, Nebraska is the reason a vast majority will watch. . . not a team of portal players…. the team with 4 freshman, 1 sophomore, 2 juniors and no seniors will be the reason most people will watch-the team that makes Sports Center’s nightly top plays; get mad all you want, but it’s true . . . 💯 But you all know that.. 🏐
Oh. It's no longer true. Sad.

Volleyball was the most watched sport on linear tv last night.
(only the NFL on prime was higher)

Nebraska x Pitt - 1,097,000 Wisconsin x Texas - 1,070,000 Wow. Those are the kinds of numbers I was hoping for. Actually, I would have been satisfied with something slightly lower. Sunday at 2pm is a choice, but man. ABC. I’m so excited. And Texas-Nebraska is probably the best matchup from a ratings standpoint. I mean, Nebraska and anyone is better than two teams not Nebraska, but I think Texas arguably is the biggest ratings draw from the rest of the field.

Ironically, Channel 8 (ABC affiliate) in Dallas and DirectTV are having a negotiation impasse so the game won't be available on air to DirectTV customers in DFW unless it is resolved before then. Been going on for about 3 weeks, at least before the Big 12 championship game with Okie State. Fortunately you should be able to stream it on WatchESPN with your DirectTV access as that's how I watched the Big 12 championship.
