From the TexasVB ig it looks like Wenaas and Phillips were both there. Maybe Skinner if this is true? Time for Kahahawai to step up. |

We can’t catch a break lol This is fine, this is all fine. We’re gonna be fine. To be fair we’ve been so injury free for so long, I’m not about to say we can’t catch a break. Hopefully it’s a mild symptom version with no lingering effects and they’re back in the saddle soon. I’m grateful it didn’t affect more personnel. |

I’m absolutely positive that’s who will see the floor. I guess Byrd might be rolled out, but there’s also a chance they’re thinking of redshirting her. Don’t know. Personally I’m excited to see what Kahahawai can do with her opportunity. It’s no where close to ideal, but these things happen. |

I guess Byrd might be rolled out, but there’s also a chance they’re thinking of redshirting her. Don’t know. Personally I’m excited to see what Kahahawai can do with her opportunity. It’s no where close to ideal, but these things happen. The bigger question in my mind is who JE will match up against Kipp, Devin or Jenna. IMO Jenna would probably be the better hitter against Kipp, but Devin would be the better blocker. |

It will be Kahahawai, IMO. He’s going to value blocking/height/slowing her down and limiting her options over hitting. But I don’t actually know. And of course we’ll see Phillips lined up over there at least once every cycle, when they do that deal where they don’t actually crossover to their natural positions. |

I feel like every time there’s an injury/illness it like always happens to a player that is extremely crucial to their team’s success. Like Skinner w/ Texas, Baird at Stanford, Kelley at Pitt, and then on the int’l side Orthmann w/ Germany and even Boskovic had that scare the other day. Just terrible luck for some teams

Just terrible luck for some teams As far as Stanford's start to this not even two week season, Caitie's injury gave Jordyn Harvey and Julia Blyashov some unexpected PT. Julia did pretty well in their first two matches; not so in the third (UF). Harvey showed well in two of the matches, especially v. the Gators. Since this is CB's final season, she wants to go out with a positive year...meaning better than 2022 AVCA Second Team AA and SU's defeat in the Regional Final. All athletic endeavors have a ~100% potential for injuries to happen at any time. |
