If it’s skinner I’d rather Byrd start for her than Devin. I’m still wanting Devin over Molly starting 😵💫 Let's all start trashing Molly, so she gets mad and comes out swinging like the Minnesota match She should be doing this anyways, but anywho😭 |

I feel like every time there’s an injury/illness it like always happens to a player that is extremely crucial to their team’s success. Like Skinner w/ Texas, Baird at Stanford, Kelley at Pitt, and then on the int’l side Orthmann w/ Germany and even Boskovic had that scare the other day. Just terrible luck for some teams Statistically it makes sense - those players are in bigger roles, take more swings, have more playing time, more chances to be injured |

Just terrible luck for some teams "Extremely crucial" would be Kipp, not Baird. |

I would definitely say Kipp is more extremely crucial to Stanford’s success lol but Baird is still a very important part of their team. Hopefully she’ll be able to play today |

We can’t catch a break lol This is fine, this is all fine. We’re gonna be fine. To be fair we’ve been so injury free for so long, I’m not about to say we can’t catch a break. Hopefully it’s a mild symptom version with no lingering effects and they’re back in the saddle soon. I’m grateful it didn’t affect more personnel. you’re so right lol I should be more grateful for our recent favorable injury history but this year has such a “anything that can go wrong probably will” vibe my optimism is fleeting. Hopefully the team is ready to rally this morning. |

I dont think there's just one player on each team considered extremely crucial... because then which ones of skinner / Oneal / swindle / halter aren't extremely crucial? I think they all are... the same way kipp / Rubin/ miner / oglivie/ Baird are for Stanford obviously kipp would be a bigger loss, but to say a starting 6-ro outside is not extremely crucial to a team just because she isn't the best player on the team doesn't make much sense to me, because then the loss of skinner would not be extremely crucial for texas, which I think it definitely is |
