Come on Ducks. OSU is looking scrappier than us and we are giving up big leads. We look like deer on ice often. Really missing Brooke right now. We'd be better with another shorter faster player digging more balls. For sure. No one can replace Brooke, but I wonder if they ever try DSing Mimi or Gabby in practice and see if someone else’s defense and serve receive adds an advantage. (I know Ulmer did in the exhibition match, so he’s at least thought about it.) |

Lauren Murphy (#10 on Ohio State) just looks way out of her league playing high major volleyball. And has nobody ever worked with her on her approach and hitting form before? That left arm doesn’t ever raise higher than her hip when she swings.
**EDIT: I actually feel bad for her. She’s being thrust into a situation she just isn’t remotely good enough / ready enough for.
