I’m sorry but the towel kids at Maples are not very good. Had to share. I can't disagree. But, I really really enjoyed watching Kendall White go absolutely ballistic about this in a post season Penn State loss to Stanford some years back. So, i just consider it a valuable contribution to Stanford wins now

Gophers gotta be one of the worst serving teams in the Power 5 With a coach that has a history of producing some solid serving teams

Gophers losing 3-1 to this Stanford team is no crime, but TWO 16-25 sets - oof.
I'm not totally sure where the cutoff for competitive sets is, but it's not 16. Maybe 19 on the low end.

Baird hitting over .500 and then under .100 the next night is exactly what I was hoping to avoid this year🥲 The good news is between Baird, Kipp and Rubin we have lots of options.... along with solid blocking from both Vicini and Francis, great libero in Ogilvie, and an awesome setter in Miner...as long as 2 of the 3 OH are playing well, STAN is tough to beat

Rubin's stat line is nuts 17-8-39 (0.231) 3 assists 3 aces 11 digs 3 blocks Is this that impressive? I mean, good on her for getting three aces, and 17 kills is a nice total for four sets (not stellar by any means) and the hitting % is perfunctory. Looked better on screen than on the stat line.

Gophers gotta be one of the worst serving teams in the Power 5 For real. They cannot consistently get their opponents OOS. Serve and pass. It's SO disheartening as a Gopher fan. No excuse at this level. Wucherer adds nothing in the back row of value. Any first string DS in the B1G would do better serving and SR. She NEVER gets set from the back row. Why is she there? And if the answer is she's the best they have, then I pray to dog (not a typo) that Skylar Gray is not on scholarship. Wucherer was a solid passer tn imo…

easily one of the worst matches I've seen Landfair play in her career. I'm sure she'll bounce back but wow she looked awful out there today At this point y’all are saying this almost every match

No excuse at this level. It’s the reckless serves in the middle of the net that really irritate me. That’s pretty hard to do on a women’s net… Now if they are serving real aggressive and consistently getting teams way out of system, getting a higher amount of aces, going on some larger serving runs then I’m fine with the bad service errors. But they’re not. Ergo my discontentment.

I mean if ANY outside hitter had this stat line against a top-10 team it's pretty impressive. Stuffing the stat sheet like that in a big game is impressive. If Harper Murray, or Eva Hudson, or any underclassmen OH had that stat line, their stans would be fawning

Wait... Di-did I just see Landfair get a dig in the back row? You did -- her one great defensive play for the night.

FYI: Her season hitting % was 0.303 coming into this match, slightly higher than NPOY candidate Kipp at 0.284, and much better than her freshman year 0.230 last year
