I wonder if we see Damrow at L, Orzol at OH and TTA benched. She's a rental. It's her last season. There is nothing more to develop. For the record I like TTA... when she's on. Julia at OH gives you a backrow attack option that you won’t get with Saige subbbing in the back for TTA. The question comes do whether or not Temi is valuable enough in her 3 rotations up front to keep her there, or if she’s better off being a backup to sub in like Jade did when someone was struggling. I don’t think that’s as clear cut an answer yet, but it does seem clear TTA’s serve is off enough for that jump serve to never be seen again. Orzoł wasn’t exactly lighting the world on fire when she was an OH earlier this year, so that might factor in to this equation (hitting 0.043 on the season so far).

Devyn hit 0. I don't think I've ever seen that. 😓 This statement made me a bit curious - last season, Devyn hit 0 against Florida and negative against Maryland and Campbell. The year before, she hit negative against Maryland (again) and Ohio St, and 0 in the Natty against Nebraska. So it has happened before, but not very often. Now I am really curious to see how she is going to play against Maryland later this season.

Maryland is a good blocking team, so perhaps we can explain that one.

I imagine Sheffield would also prefer one of his incredibly physical pins to take a front row swing opposed to his undersized OH in the backrow. if they were running a 5-1 id maybe agree with you on this, but they have two very strong options on both pins at all times. options that would 9 times out of 10 be more effective than orzol, who struggles to score while in the front row, let alone 10 ft off the net from the backrow I dont dislike the idea of orzol playing OH all the way around to help the passing, I just dont think her backrow attack will be as useful as you might

One last thing I wanted to mention about this game was that I was pleased the game itself was competitive. It looked good watching it on TV and I hope it helped to draw in some casual viewers.
