You responded, you are creating drama. Don’t take the bait, Gators. Swim past this chicken with the hook inside. Always popping off I can see the pin coming out of this grenade, Florida fans better celebrate the high point of their season right now.

I know you can't be plussed, because nonplussed is not to opposite and the non is not a prefix.
For example, if I say I would be nonplussed if the Badgers were to sweep, what is it you think I am saying?

I could see the final 4 being: Nebraska, Florida, Louisville, & Wisconsin. This is my early take lol I rebuke this. Agreed. It's a little light on Big Ten teams.

Wisconsin is starting transfers for both middle spots and both OH spots along with only having lost one single player from a near-Final 4 squad. Not to mention the Badgers lineup is (Year 5, Year 4, Year 4, Year 3, Year 5, Year 4, Year 3, Year 2, Year 5) and they brought over a libero from a professional league team who might not even be on the floor anymore. The bar is understandably higher for them whereas Florida has been a pleasant surprise. I personally think that florida has shown this year that their bar of expectation is at the same level as anybodys right now... regardless of age or how good they were 'supposed' to be a month ago before any match was even played. the same way I dont think Nebraska should be babied for being a young team, because they've proven they're a top team just like Florida I dont care who wins the match really, but I do think it's funny that if a certain team loses they will not be ridiculed the way the other one will. especially when both teams are ranked in the top 3 lol, its not like Florida is some mid team trying to pullout a massive upset. preseason predictions are what they are, but do the really hold any value whatsoever a month into the season? I dont think so Florida has proven more than Bucky at this point. Yet, if Florida wins they will only be ranked #2 (assuming Louisville beats Stanford) but if Wisconsin wins they will be #1. So there is some asymmetry there. But yes, there are also a lot of vindictive and petty people on here who will abuse any narrative to use it to their advantage.

I don’t think, from what I’ve seen at least, there are four teams better than BOTH of these teams. There’s a lot of season to play, so maybe but I think the original assertion here is pretty bizarre. I could see the final 4 being: Nebraska, Florida, Louisville, & Wisconsin. This is my early take lol Please no, too much RED.

As a Wisconsin fan I have two fears regarding Florida:
(1) We have not handled teams with short, aggressive hitters well so far. Arkansas gave us fits by doing quick, short and low sets to their small hitters. When Arkansas was able to get a good pass they were able to hit before we were able to get our blockers in place. Florida has seen the Arkansas video.
(2) Wisconsin will not beat Florida if they commit 18 service errors. TTA does some things very well, but her serving was inconsistent early in the season and has become a disaster. We need to keep TTA off the service line.
On the plus side: If Orzol can stabilize our service receive and passing game we have two monsters that can crush a good set. Our setters have discovered that Booth and Smrek are nearly unstoppable when properly fed. As they say, "you can coach hitting but you can't coach 6 foot 9".

I am calling this match right now What's the call? I want to know if I should watch the match.
My fan's intuition, which is as reliable as the AMC Gremlin I once had, is telling me Damrow is going to play and give the Badgers a spark.

Gators posted a picture with Holly Rowe from practice today. Looked like Kira Hutson was dressed to practice!

Unlike the doom and gloom from Badgers fans in here, I think we have a decent shot (and I'm usually the pessimistic Badger fan), we just need to be able to find and stay on that extra gear that we have. Fans of other teams keep calling us lucky, but when a team keeps coming back late in the set, clearly that means Wisconsin has some next level of play they can reach when they are locked in and focused. They have also shown flashes of dominant sets against good opponents. We'll see how it goes on Sunday.
However, if we do lose the first two sets, I want Sheff to try Damrow at L for the 3rd set, because by that point, why tf not, might as well see how she does against a top tier opponent. I think she (or GG if she can ever find the right headspace) are our hopes for very good to elite backrow play THIS season; I'm just not convinced Orzol will be able to reach that level with just several months of training.

The Badger football team has, yet again, precipitated a TV shut-off. I'm counting on The Badger VB Team to show the inept girly men how to win. GO BADGERS.
