This place is so gross. Between this nonsense, the ogling over coaches male and female, the ogling over players, the politics... why I am I still here? Can't we stick to arguing over lineups? What Devyn posted is not activism. Let's not get that twisted. My qualm is with the quote saying we saw what badgervb is all about. Poor passing, inconsistent setting with too many doubles and poor set choices, and lots of missed serves. Devyn and Smrek were good. They should have been set more tbh. Wisco fought and got the win but I wouldn't be touting it as that as the exemplar of badgervb play. They should be better than what they put on in Florida and my hunch is that we will see something closer to what badgervb wants to be about come playoffs. |

I guess everyone can take away from that comment what they will. But what badgervb is all about could probably boil down to in Devs time with Badger volleyball the team has a 93% winning percentage and going for a 4th consecutive Big Ten title. Badgersvb is about winning. Also about grit alluding to their 4 five set wins this season. That they are undefeated and number 1 in the country is surprising to me considering the passing and defensive woes. Opponents best hope the Badgers don't figure things out or the ceiling is scary high for this years team. |

Priceless. You called Aleck classless and more for celebrating and posturing, yet it’s outrageous for anyone to say “cringe” about this post. I have no problem with her post, I have a problem with your hypocrisy and two tiered judgement. I could put a price on this and it's certainly not priceless. There is no hypocrisy. Aleck was in histrionics on court. Devyn was not. Devyn was responding to a post made last year that was pretty trashy (FL). Aleck was not. False equivalencies and the inability to discern fact from fiction are a disease and you're afflicted. The level of hyperbole you’ve used regarding her actions is remarkable. What was posted about what Devyn did was benign and respectful, what you called an enthusiastic 20 year old classless and bush league. It’s beyond bias and hypocritical. |
