There is little that convinces me that Wisconsin would have won if Stucky played the entire match. In fact, even in the 5th set, Wisconsin didn't even win, Florida lost with timid attacking and errors. So far this season, of all the top teams, Wisconsin has been the least impressive to me overall. “The 5th set Wisconsin didn’t even win” is a pretty disrespectful statement. Wisconsin and Florida both played well in the 5th, so there’s no reason to diminish the work of any of the players. It was a gritty set and Wisconsin pulled out the win. Did Wisconsin look impressive tonight? No, but did Florida look impressive going 5 sets against USF, FSU, or Sacramento State? Some nights, teams are off. This was one of those nights for Wisconsin, but there’s also no telling how things would have gone if Stucky wasn’t injured because - like it or not - we can’t see into alternate realities. Maybe Wisconsin would have crumbled in 3. Maybe they would have still pulled off the reverse sweep. Maybe it would have been a four setter. No one knows because there is nothing to know - the ONLY reality is that Stucky very unfortunately was injured and Wisconsin won the match at the end of the day. The only thing now to do is hope that Stucky’s injury isn’t severe and she can make a return to the sport. She’s an insanely talented setter and athlete and it would be a shame to not have her in the sport.

The W is etched in stone and unhappy, jealous people are screaming into the void as a result. What could be better?

Florida was up 10-8, then in Wisconsin's five point run (which was the largest run Wisconsin had in the ENTIRE match) Florida had two unforced hitting errors and in two other points they had the opportunity to take a swing at a solid ball and didn't. I'm not saying Wisconsin didn't win those points, what I am saying is that Florida made it much easier for them to win those points.

Did you want to play for Wisconsin and they never recruited you? Your disdain for them across multiple threads is a bit silly. Florida is probably a better team with Stucky but she is out for now yet you say Florida is the better team. Wisconsin has won the last three games against Florida and teams should be based on the players on the court. Injuries stink but they do matter on how good a team is.

Wisconsin beat Florida, the how’s or why’s don’t matter.

Lol a bit cringe, Robinson. Cringe? lol, no! I'd say it's an apt response to Florida's earlier troll job.

Lol a bit cringe, Robinson. lol fairly played. But all those people saw that wisconsin BARELY came out alive. A W is a W at the end of the day, so it counts for something. I will say, I was impressed that they didn't miss any serves in that fifth set because it was LOUD. Just wish the gators could have pulled it out for Stucky. I'm so sad for her and hope that the news comes back okay.

Player availibility and venue most certainly are contributing factors. Nebraska scheduled a gimmee win in their quest to break a record. They wanted to avoid a potential loss learning from Wisconsin. Wisconsin scheduled their quest on an unfamiliar court against a top notch opponent.

Fun competitive back and forth. But I just think given the circumstances of the match, to me it's a bit cringe to be boastful. Just my opinion

I think its terrible that Stuckey was injured but the show ultimately goes on You have to finish off Wisconsin when we're down. Don't let it get to a 5th.

They are a great team. Why can’t you just be happy with that and just ignore the noise that’s always going to come with any #1 ranked team playing and winning a match?

Lol a bit cringe, Robinson. Another tone deaf moment from my Badgers, lol, unreal. How Sheff allows this is beyond me. Not a chance in hell we win this match if Stucky doesnt get injured.
