Did Robinson delete that? I'm getting "not found" etc on a number of twitter accounts, so I thing "X" might be having a problem, not specific to Devyn. I was not aware of the 'trolling' post from last season, but clearly Devyn (and I assume the rest of the team) was. Hoping for the best for Stucky, I'm nevertheless Ok with her trolling back; as she said, "how it started...". |

Ok, calm down. It was posted by badgerbarstool which is cringe no matter the school. That said, these are literally 18-22 year-olds. Everyone. Calm. Down.

So Wisconsin cannot respond to a troll because Florida doesn't have adequate depth at the setter position? I think its terrible that Stuckey was injured but the show ultimately goes on You have to finish off Wisconsin when we're down. Don't let it get to a 5th. Your team won the match. They are a great team. Why can’t you just be happy with that and just ignore the noise that’s always going to come with any #1 ranked team playing and winning a match? So the boasting and scuttlebutt allowed if its the underdog but the favorite is unable to respond? I'm OK win or lose.Was responding to someone that felt cringe when Wisconsin player was responding to Florida's social media post from '22. |

It seems very tone deaf to the seriousness of the situation. But whatever, just my opinion. |

I believe she's referring to grittiness as the Badgers have been in several 5 setters and came out on top in all of them. Plus their schedule is one of the toughest in the nation. Grittiness and resiliency is what I see in the 2023 Badgers. A team that has much room for improvement however. |

Monday morning on the US west coast and I see that the faux righteous indignation is still smoldering. Why is that?
First, and most important, most everyone who has posted on this thread has acknowledged Ms. Stuckey's injury and said what needed to be said, i.e., it's tragic for her and gut-wrenching for teammates, family, friends and anyone else who has a personal stake in her health and well-being. I'm not sure that volleyball fans who don't know her belong in this category.
So, let's call the repetitive, venomous snipping at and parsing of The Badgers' win what it really is: Badger Derangement Syndrome. That is fine; it fits nicely under the rabid fan umbrella. Just cut to the chase, be honest about it and say "I hate The Wisconsin Badgers and I hope they lose every remaining match in 2023". Big props to madden55 for doing just that.

Your team is like an assembly of the avengers in college volleyball so you cannot tell me you are happy with their performance so far.
Is it a case of too much talent on the roster so no player is “hungry”?
I honestly will like to get your take as I’m a fan of several of your players, including the transfers and I’d like them to play at the level they did on their previous teams.

From watching several games this year, the biggest issue is back row play and setting. When in system, UW is very tough to stop, but has been inconsistent in these areas much of the season. Realistic to expect the blocking to improve as the season go on, but the pins and middles need the serve/receive, passing and setting to improve to have a shot at a title this year. NU has struggled at setter in recent years and now has a great setter and excellent backrow play, which elevates their hitters to another level and makes them a legit threat to win it all. If UW was getting the same level of play at Reilly, Rodriguez and Choboy was giving NU, the Badgers would look a lot more daunting at this point in the season. |

I can’t think of any Badger fan who is pleased with the performance of this team thus far. I’m sure we’re all pulling our hair out over how crappy our passing and SR has been, but what can we do about it? |
