Question for Wisconsin fans. Seriously, are you not concerned? Your team is like an assembly of the avengers in college volleyball so you cannot tell me you are happy with their performance so far. Is it a case of too much talent on the roster so no player is “hungry”? I honestly will like to get your take as I’m a fan of several of your players, including the transfers and I’d like them to play at the level they did on their previous teams. Of course we are concerned. We are not playing to the same level we were just 1 year ago. But at the same time, we are undefeated despite a difficult non con schedule. Also, its clear the team is loaded with talent, though there is definitely issues with actually fitting those pieces together. It's a long season, I am excited that there is room for growth even if we haven't shown it yet. |

Whenever I worry about things that are out of my control, I think of my favorite Doris Day song, Que Sera Sera. It makes me feel super-sparkly again and I realize there has got to be a morning after.
I hope you find your bliss. Trying to manage the vagaries of young athletes is exhausting. |

This seems to imply that volleyball just exists as the net confrontation between hitter and blocker. In that case, Wisconsin certainly does have an avengers lineup. Unfortunately for us, a team needs to pass, serve, play defense, and set too, all things that Wisconsin has done from below average to terribly. So of course just read the Wisconsin thread to see how concerned we are. The real blow to this team is that GG did not turn out to be a good passer, which has affected who plays defense, who serves, and has thrown everything in the air. The setting is what it is, we all knew what to expect from that. |

Let’s face it, posters are having a problem because Devyn’s a confident black female athlete; jwvolley is trying to divert attention away from John Cook making an asinine racist comment on a radio interview where he wanted to “bring in Asian ladies to do nails for the team.” |

I think we've been pretty transparent with our unhappiness with some of Coach Sheffield's decisions this year. |

Another tone deaf moment from my Badgers, lol, unreal. How Sheff allows this is beyond me. Not a chance in hell we win this match if Stucky doesnt get injured. Ok, calm down. Am I underthinking or are you all overthinking? People see it in poor taste considering 1) Stucky’s injury and 2) Wisconsin’s less than stellar performance in the match. While it was a win, the question is whether it’s one to brag about |

Florida has a great team and suffered a big loss at the setter position. Did Devyn dox anyone? Did she target any players by name in a harassing nature? Did Stucky have a profession ending injury? Did something happen where the game has to stand still and have everyone refrain from discussing opponent unless it checks in with sensitive fans and get there go-ahead? Like cmon already this Badger hate is definitely Badger Derangement Syndrome. |

I don’t think the post is that bad, I just think it’s a bad look for Devryn given Stuckys injury. If I’m a Wisconsin player there’s no way I feel good about that win knowing they were without their best player. |
