That was a Smrek bomb. I thought Anna hit it off her face for an IU kill at the time. Replay showed it was her shoulder. No, TTA. 19-13 to 19-14 in the third. Off Rammelsberg's shoulder and dropping near the UW bench. (I double-checked the video.) When it rains it pours.
"You've got to kick at the darkness 'til it bleeds daylight". GG seems to be showing the way for now, other players will soon be on that path. |

Hmmm, funny you bring up GG, because GG got benched for her poor play before she figured it out and presumably proved it back in practice. But of course TTA can keep being starter despite hitting .200; that's fine huh? |

That all occurred eight feet in front of me. The wheel-chair row and then me in the 'second' row, first set of benches. I was thinking 'of course she's getting the ball, the sign cliched it.' :-) LOL yeah, but I wasn’t sure if the players paid much attention to the fans. I guess CC did! This kid is the luckiest of all 4 kids. That’s the 3rd pre-game ball in 2 years. She got one from Saige at the last match. Her siblings are getting jealous! |
