Yep definitely a rebuilding year next year for WSU. Most of those seniors are 5th years, maybe one or two isn't. We will see. I'm sure Greeney will be getting her international recruits as usual, and maybe a couple from the portal next year, but the team won't quite be at this seasoned level. Very true. The four returners should be solid, but it will be interesting to see how they plug the holes. Or if they’re also looking for a coach. 👀Jen Greeny ain't going anywhere.

WSU has 12 seniors! They will be left with two juniors no sophomores and only 2 freshman. (I also did not check to see if any of these were 5th year seniors or not. I do not see any 2024 recruits for Washington state). They need to climb as high as they can this year because next year will be a rebuilding year for them too. Washington will be bringing everyone back except for Pertofsky and Litzau. They have two outstanding recruits coming in, a middle blocker and a setter. Both highly ranked. Washington needs to just stay healthy and continue to use this year as a building year. No expectation to go into this match trying to do anything crazy. They will be competitive in the Pac-2 though.

little off topic but since it’s the topic of the thread rn, Wazzu will have to rebuild, but they’ll likely be in an easier conference next season and with Ung, Ryan, Barbero, Martin, Blazkova, and Juric, they should be okay. I bet they get another OH transfer for the third year in a row

praying that pertofsky, barton, and endsley all have career nights on the same day.
UW hasn't beaten WSU in Pullman since 2017 - Pullman is such a difficult place to win at, but hoping for a competitive game!

As a UW fan I am more than happy never to play the Cougs in Pullman again It's like UW Softball or Football playing at the Arizona schools - very difficult and mostly stressful

I'm getting ready to go to the game. Looking forward to the Bohler experience tonight. It should be loud tonight.

I'm getting ready to go to the game. Looking forward to the Bohler experience tonight. It should be loud tonight. Since 2000, Bohler Gym is the only facility dedicated solely to women's volleyball in the Pac-12 (soon to be Pac-2) Conference. Its dominating home court atmosphere, where the fans are virtually on top of the action, has created a unique environment for WSU and is dreaded by all opponents.

Are they due for an upgrade?
