Booth needs to hammer that overpass can't let those free points go like that can't help and think about this post from the Nebraska / Minnesota game thread: I do not think it is dramatic in the least to say that we have an EPIDEMIC going around the world of volleyball and it's the COMPLETE INABILITY for middles to kill overpasses. We NEED a PROGRAMMATIC CHANGE to the high school training of our YOUNG ATHLETES, otherwise this will be how NCAA volleyball DIES. I will be sending around a Change.org PETITION in order to RECTIFY this NATIONAL CRISIS. |

GG dimes a pass, and Frank with a NASTY cross court shot. 20-12. They way she regularly hits that angle with pace is impressive. |

To be clear, I think that what JFO did in terms of her 'all or nothing' approach is no one's business but hers and those players'. I very much support her decision and I think it will pay dividends in the long run.

Announcer just said that Wisconsin found GG on a trip to Europe and were able to get her to join them on the National Championship team in 2021.....

One of those things is not like the others…. But yes… it is a gamble that is not paying off this year and Jen better hope it pays off in 2024 The "it's a gamble to honor my scholarship offers" is a take. Basically, JFO got screwed by the COVID year and chose the high road. It’s a gamble in roster construction. The COVID year was like 3 years ago. Everyone knew it would cause some issues. JFO was the one who offered those scholarships instead of banking for an extra year from any of those veteran leaders. That’s the gamble. It’s the idea that she can build something for 2024 or 2025 that is better than what she would have put on the court in 2023. |

you have to pick one of those, she only had one scholarship for five graduating seniors. I’d pick Gonzalez. She’s looked wonderful at Oregon this year Then you did not watch much Nuts last three seasons…. |

I must have misunderstood (and thought she spoke publicly on that in an interview with VBM, but I could be wrong). I thought her reasoning was it wasn't fair to any of the seniors to just pick one and not the other. |
