What strikes me as ironically funny is the similarity... not parallel...between ASU's OOC record v. cupcakes and Berkeley's in some recent seasons. Undefeated, or near so, and then sink like a rock come PAC. |

The last time we faced undefeated Arizona State, they were ranked #6 and beat us, which moved them to #5 the next week.
Unfortunately their superstar Macey Gardner suffered a career-ending injury at Washington the following week, and ASU plummeted after that.

Wow - that was during Hayley Hodson’s freshman year. Macey Gardner was a fantastic volleyball player - glad she is now back.. and coaching ASU no less! |

gardner-donathan is not currently a coach at asu or arkansas - she's a coach with club one vb in tempe. she was announced as a coach at asu in january, but by mid-april was no longer listed as a coach on the asu website. |
