I noticed that Baird often ran under the ball. Not sure it was the set that was behind or she took off too early and ended up almost reaching back for balls all the time. |

Has been interesting to see Hambly do the double sub in some of these matches. Presumably more to give Harvey some swings than for Belardi's benefit? Letting Beaven serve out the match was kinda cool; I assume that wasn't any kinda commentary about Baird's serving or defense.

Ok, did anyone see the Francis injury? I saw her going down and roll up but not get up. I think the stream intentionally cut away and stayed away. No replay etc. I thought she was very tight to the net. I don't know if she landed on ASU foot or just landed badly or what. I suspect that few if any of us had a very good look at exactly what happened. |
