I think it's getting a little bit predictable. When we are struggling and call a time out, the first set is usually to Madi in the back (if she's in the back). And if I've noticed it, you can be sure that other teams' coaches have. . . Yes, but there’s not much they can do about it. They dug her a couple times, but for the most part she was hitting it with such force that it was going straight to the defender and knocking them backwards. Her approach is more powerful and accurate from the backrow, IMO. It’s giving Ebony Nwanebu from back there. Plus, I’ll say our entire offense is pretty basic. Any wrinkle is a plus. Nothing like watching our pins hit into OU’s triple blocks repeatedly as confirmation regarding our predictability. |
