I remember her saying that she didn't want to name the Illini player because she didn't want to give her the satisfaction. I don't know what a more intense CC looks like or if that is even possible. |

That is the match Brooke went off at OH so it could have been her. |

Sheffield talked after the Iowa match about not taking things for granted and the hope the program's fans wouldn't. Yes, I know Illinois is struggling, but Terry is always a threat, I have seen matches in which the other Illini starters have gone off, and Huff is not a fun place to play for opponents. I want the Badgers to play to their ceiling and make it the kind of match Illini fans are worried about, but I just want the Badgers to win.
Yes; I wouldn't be shocked if it goes to 4 or 5 sets and I'm sure their crowd (along with student section obviously) will be jacked for it; I've seen enough of Collins the last few seasons (including a tournament here in Milwaukee two years back) and she's more than legit.

I want to see Barnes really bring the defense tonight. She has an opportunity with Boyer, Ashburn, MJ maybe Reed all leaving after this season to catch the eye of Badger coaches. Caroline was more highly rated coming out of HS than her sister, and while I respect her not wanting to just follow in Lauren’s wake, now is the time to find her way out of the Illini malaise.

Caroline was more highly rated coming out of HS than her sister, and while I respect her not wanting to just follow in Lauren’s wake, now is the time to find her way out of the Illini malaise. Likely not a spot for her at Wisconsin. GG is returning. Damrow is on the bench right now. Lola Schumacher and Maile Chan are coming in 2024.

She is not as good as her sister. Lauren was a much better passer and defender. |
