Sorry for jumping on you, maigrey- I should've taken a breath and maybe counted to ten instead of firing off a snippy response. I've been frustrated by my team's recent struggles and let that get the best of me in the moment. Apologies for how I reacted to you. To be honest, it pained me to even create that poll because (sadly) I think we're all on the same page about how this one will likely end. But I had to make a poll so this thread would stand out as a match thread and I couldn't think of an alternative clever poll question that's more lighthearted than serious. And that's the territory of our other match threadmakers, anyway, so it wouldn't have been authentic. Best of luck to the Badgers *on any of their remaining matches not on October 7 or November 4. |

Sheffield talked after the Iowa match about not taking things for granted and the hope the program's fans wouldn't. Yes, I know Illinois is struggling, but Terry is always a threat, I have seen matches in which the other Illini starters have gone off, and Huff is not a fun place to play for opponents. I want the Badgers to play to their ceiling and make it the kind of match Illini fans are worried about, but I just want the Badgers to win.
