I'm not a Kelly S. fan, just as I'm sure most Wisconsin supporters aren't fans of John C., but I was really impressed with his post-game presser. It's well worth the listen.

Mruzik roofed (someone) against Purdue and did a finger wave yesterday and no one said a thing lol- just funny that she was the one who had such an issue with allick in their match. +1 Crawford talks a lotta of smack and I think it's great. Also, fun too see all her net violations that followed. Makes things fun. Helps grow the sport in an odd way. . Bahaaaaaas

Bahaaaaaas Or Dorthy from KS with more mouth than brains? Probably not, but nothing stupider than trash talking before critical net violations in 5th set. LMAO!

It's well worth the listen. one thing ive always noticed about Sheffield is win or loss, he speaks so highly of the opponents they played in his press conferences. After beating Louisville in the 2021 semis, you would've thought wisco lost with the way Sheffield was talking about Louisville after the match. A lot of coaches will blame their side for losing and Sheffield will as well, but he always gives a lot of credit and is very complimentary to the other side

So uh Volleymetrics updated their coding for the match...
Rodriguez 3.0 on 17 attempts Murray 2.55 on 43 attempts Batenhorst 2.50 on 6 attempts Choboy 2.78 on 30 attempts
Holy Jordan Larson.
Personal notes upon looking at film: I actually think Lexi had one pass out of her 17 attempts that I would classify as a 2, so she passed like a 2.94 in my mind (sorry to be a party pooper on that perfect grade LOL). Also, one of the passes attributed to Batenhorst is actually Harper passing the ball.
Also, I think it's clear Bergen didn't set one of her best matches on Saturday, even Cook said it wasn't her night before the 5th set. Should be able to be more efficient with that sort of passing, even with Wisconsin's massive block. But wow so proud of this team for handling Wisconsin's serves at an ELITE level.

Mybe ill put all of the passes together, but Wisconsin's serving strategy really was poor... Lexi has so much time to get to where she wants to be (also blame the quality on the recording.. it was really bad and a bit on youtube lol)

Correct. These passing stats also make the 44 attack errors that much more shocking.

Those numbers are absolutely insane. I cant believe it. Either this team is one of the best passing teams of the last 20 years, OR wisconsin basically served it underhand. I would believe either tbh
