I am personally surprised it's almost lunchtime (on the east coast) on Tuesday after selection Sunday and we haven't had a single P5 opening. This isn't the hot seat thread but I'm curious which P5 schools you think would even be making changes? Coaches also are required to take a week off before holding team/individual meets once season is over, so a lot of coaches get out of dodge for Thanksgiving and this week. Administrators we also travel with basketball for non conference games at this time as well, so could put the hold on some meetings.

Many of the bottom dwellers are either relatively new or had some recent success. Look, even the hot seat thread fizzled this year, and I think we are expecting a lot of turnover in football as teams who haven't are now going to spend on staff to go after a spot in the 12 team playoff. Maybe their just isn't the appetite to spend money on a volleyball coach when you you could spend it on a 3rd interior running game analyst for about the same price.

BTW, Toledo posted for an assistant yesterday, and Navy posted for an assistant today, so we could analyze the relative needs and strengths of those two positions while we wait for a bombshell.

Posted for HC Lake Erie is apparently the job that takes 3 years for a coach to realize they need to get the heck outta there. Foeman was there 3 years Peck was there 3 years Anderson was there 3 years I wonder who the next victim will be.

You look at a case like Lake Erie and you just want to jump in front of good people and scream: don't do it! But, you can't stop people from trying to move along in their careers and you can't tell them to not pay the bills or feed the family. It's like having a different Charlie Brown trying to kick the football and having Lucy snatch it out of their way. Every. Single. Time.

From Coaches Wire: Wyoming: Josh Taylor is no longer an Associate Head Coach after serving in the role since January 2023
Anyone know anything on this? With him being a former P5 HC, could he be lined up for a HC gig already? Or was he let go at Wyoming?!
